In order to expand the use of domestic wood, the Wood Industry Division is conducting research on the wood industry information, a sustainable utilization system for wood resources, wood urbanism, and promotion of the wood value.
By discovering the value of wood, we are making an effort to expand the wood culture and create new and great demand for each wood use.
Wood Industry Information Lab has conducted improvement of criteria for standard dimensions & quality of wood products and development of Korean Industrial Standards(KS) & global standards, through analysis of technologies and International Organization for Standardization(ISO) trends, with an objective to lead the establishment of global standardization and enhance national competitiveness of the wood industry.
