An Experimental Forest(EF), administered by the National Institute of Forest Science(NIFoS), is a forest provided for the research necessary for the sustainable forest management and the development of practical technologies.
The following research projects are being conducted:
- silviculture and forest management options;
- forest tree improvement; and
- long-term change of forest ecosystems, and climate change adaptation and monitoring.
