content : Cho Yon-hwan, chief of the Korea Forest Service, gave a special lecture on trees and forests to middle school teachers in the music hall of Gongju University on August 9. Approximately 300 participated in the lecture, during which Mr. Cho stressed that the nation＇s current green forests had not been made in one day, but had been the fruits of senior forest public servants and people＇s decades long efforts. He called on the participants to teach the history of the nation＇s forests as well as the value of forests as future resources to students in school.
