Through this general meeting, Chief Cho Yon-hwan expressed a positive outlook on the realization of hopes of 2.17 million forest owners to create better income opportunities. General Meeting with Forest Owners
Korea Forest Service and Forestry Cooperatives Federation organized the "General Meeting with Forest Owners" and invited around 2,000 forest owners nationwide. The Meeting was held on June 22 at the Jamsil Olympic Park in Seoul. Issues on forest assitance policies, potential income products and advanced forest management were addressed. Experts from different fields provided consultations on forest management. Also, various forest goods and forestry equipments were exhibited during the grand event.
