Active Involvement in Saving the Temples
The Master Monk of the Buddhist Jogye Order and the Minister of Korea Forest Service expressed mutual concern for the conservation of temples. On the 11th of December, both parties agreed to make joint efforts on diverse forest activities including forest fire prevention, protection of cultural heritage, pest and disease control, and forest rehabilitation on over 63,000ha of forest under the Jogye Order.
